Introducing Ayiesha Woods by Ayiesha Woods
What kind of music: Christian
Sounds like: (other artists): Mandisa
Why I picked it up: Because my mom really likes this artist and her music.
What I thought of it: It was absolutely incredible, well crafted, uplifting, enjoyable music. I loved every song on the disc!

What was your favorite song and why: "What Matters Most." I liked this song because of the introduction of piano and how it sounds like rain.

Short Story Collections

Spring is a busy time of year. If you're looking for a quick read, why not check out a short story collection? Short stories can be a fun way to discover new authors. Some collections are edited by or feature prominent or up-and-coming authors, so you can get a feel for whether or not you like his or her style without committing to a novel. They often are created around a theme or topic, so you can explore new genres or indulge in lots of stories in your favorite genre.

145th Street by Walter Dean Myers is a collection of stories that portray lives on a block in Harlem.

Teeth: Vampire Tales edited by Ellen Datlow and Terri Windling features stories by authors like Neil Gaiman and Cassandra Clare.

Steampunk! An Anthology of Fantastically Rich and Strange Stories edited by Kelly Link and Gavin Grant is a mix of history, sci-fi, and fantasy full of automatons, clockwork, and other crazy inventions.

These are just a few of the short story collections available in the Teen Zone. Check them all out here!
