What's it about: This is a non-fiction book about the 50s and 60s time era. Written by Betty Friedan who is fighting for equal rights between man and women.
Why I picked it up: I studied feminine rights in my AP U.S. history class and wanted to know more; plus it's a classic.
What I thought of it: I loved the tone embodied throughout the book even though I didn't agree with all that was said. The rhetoric of Friedan's writing is beautiful.
I would suggest this for: Anyone looking to read a good argument.
