Book Review: Anna and the French Kiss

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
Check it out here!

Description: Anna is looking forward to her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a great job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. Which is why she is less than thrilled about being shipped off to boarding school in Paris - until she meets Etienne St. Clair: perfect, Parisian (and English and American, which makes for a swoon-worthy accent), and utterly irresistible. The only problem is that he's taken, and Anna might be, too, if anything comes of her almost-relationship back home.

As winter melts into spring, will a year of romantic near - misses end with the French kiss Anna - and readers - have long awaited?

Review: *Love* *Swoon* *Sigh*

Anna and the French Kiss is well written, funny, charming, and totally delightful. It was like eating a beignet beneath the Eiffel Tower in spring - sounds lovely doesn't it?

√Čtienne St. Claire is totally swoon worthy - think Edward Cullen (cute, smart, well-traveled, cultured) without the creepy diet or sunlight issue, and Anna is funny and kind, someone you'd want as your own BFF. Surrounded by a cast of hilarious and crazy friends, Anna and √Čtienne stumble through their year together, dealing with family drama, friend fighting, makes-ups, breakups, and their mixed-up feelings for each other. As best friends, they figuring out what they want and need from each other and the other people in their lives.

There are some truly hilarious moments in Anna and the French Kiss, as well as, plenty of swoon worthy ones. This is the perfect Valentines Day romantic read.

Plus, it's set in Paris? Is there anything more swoon worthy or romantic?

The perfect romantic read.
