Movie Review: Green Lantern

What's it about? A man is chosen to wield a ring with unimaginable power to defend the universe.

Why I picked it up: It looked interesting and I like movies with action.

What I thought of it: It was awesome and funny. I loved the things he created with the ring.

I would suggest it for: Anyone who likes super heroes and action.

Movie Review: Gnomeo and Juliet

Gnomeo and Juliet

What's it about? A twist of Romeo and Juliet told with gnomes and with a happy ending after Gnomeo saves Juliet and the Reds and Blues get along now.

Why I picked it up: I love animated movies and Romeo and Juliet.

What I thought of it: It was very coordinated with Romeo and Juliet until the end and was a very cute and amazing movie.

I would suggest it for: Everyone, Shakespeare lovers, and/or Disney lovers.

Why I picked it up: Lady Gaga's songs always have a good message.

What I thought of it: I love that it's telling people, no matter what you look like, you are a great, unique person.

What was your favorite song and why: "Born This Way"It has an awesome beat and excellent message.

What it's about: A smart newborn vampire girl is unknowingly being lied to and tricked as part of a vampire army against the Cullens.

Why I picked it up: I love the Twilight series and Stephanie Meyer.

What I thought of it: This book is an amazing addition to the Twilight series! I love how it gives you the view of a newborn and flips the story! (:

I would suggest this for: Twilight fans and all teenagers.

What it's about: A beggar girl named Mary takes up the name Jacky and disguises herself as a boy to join the British Army.

Why I picked it up: A good friend liked it.

What I thought of it: It was really interesting, Jacky has sass and I like how it was written.

I would suggest this for: Adventure lovers.

Why I picked it up: Same author as The Secret Life of Bees.

What I thought of it: it was really well wrtiten but really sad. It made me cry twice.
